Instructions for Preparation
2023 Sustainability Report of Xinxiang Chemical Fibre Co., Ltd. is the first sustainability report released by Xinxiang Chemical Fibre Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Xinxiang Chemical Fibre”, the “Company” and “We”)1. Previously, it has published the Corporate Social Responsibility Report for seven consecutive years. In order to provide stakeholders with more comprehensive information on the sustainable development of Xinxiang Chemical Fibre, we changed the name of the report to the Sustainability Report in 2023.
Time Range
The time range of this report is January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as the “reporting period”), and will be released on an annual basis later. In order to enhance the consistency and completeness of the report, some contents and data are beyond the above range.
Scope of the Report
Xinxiang Chemical Fibre is one of the subsidiaries of Xinxiang Bailu Investment Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Group”). The main body of this report is Xinxiang Chemical Fibre Co., Ltd., including all production and operation facilities within the Company’s two operating locations (Economic Development Zone factory: regenerated cellulose filament yarn and spandex yarn production, Fengquan District factory: regenerated cellulose filament yarn production, both in Xinxiang City)2.
Basis of Preparation
This report is prepared with reference to the 2021 GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Self-Regulation No. 1 for Listed Companies - Standardized Operation of Main Board Listed Companies, and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Social Responsibility Instructions to Listed Companies.
Data Sources and Reliability
The contents of this report are all sourced from the official documents of Xinxiang Chemical Fibre, and some contents are compiled by the Office for Social Responsibility of CNTAC and China Chemical Fibers Association.
